Safety Management for Film and HETV

A course designed to engage, empower and educate. Specific to film and HETV this course will help you make dynamic decisions that mitigate and reduce risk on set, on location and in the studio. 

Set Safe on camera

Every production, department and role experience risk in a different way. This course is specifically designed to help managers, HOD's and other crew members with responsibility, better mitigate risk in their roles and across production. 

 

We built this course from a film makers perspective, pushing our motto of Stay Safe, Stay Creative™. We are here to tell you how you CAN do things safely, not what you cant do.

•Understand the roles & responsibilities for Health, Safety and welfare in the workplace.

•Understand how risk assessment contributes to Health & Safety.

•Understand how to identify and control risks from common workplace hazards.

•Know the procedures for responding to an accident in the workplace.

•Understand how to implement good practice into professional work.

Who is it for?

Anyone who is responsible for safety on a production. 

​

Qualification and accreditation:
​

This course is double accredited.

​

This course has been accredited by the Production Safety Passport (PSP) scheme as industry-standard, high-quality and widely-recognised health and safety training. Upon successfully completing this programme, you will gain a PSP certificate via the ScreenSkills website which employers can use to verify your level of training.

​

This course is at level x3.5 on the Production Safety Passport.

 

It is also a Level 2 Health and Safety in the Workplace.accredited by First Aid Awards under the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) for England.
